Jimmie Smith-Tew and her horse, Nicki, made the fastest run of the National Western to come out the champions. With a time of 14.83, the duo made it look easy when they absolutely dominated the Final Round.
“I thought I had no chance of making the semi-finals so I got on Nicki to give her a chance, which is funny because I wasn’t even going to come if I had to run the outside horse, and she just got better and better,” she said.
Smith-Tew and Nicki left it all in the Denver Coliseum arena to be your champions. Kalli McCall finished second and while Brittnay Pozzi Tonozzi and Birdie came in third.
