Jenna Dallyn’s Breakaway Season Heating Up North and South of the Border

Dallyn is currently sitting within the top fifteen in both the CPRA and WPRA standings.

Nanton, Alberta’s Jenna Dallyn is off to a strong start in the 2025 breakaway roping season. She is currently leading the Canadian Professional Rodeo Association standings and holding steady at 12th in the Women’s Professional Rodeo Association.

Her momentum kicked off during the Texas Swing, where she cashed in at major rodeos including San Angelo, San Antonio, and Fort Worth. The talented roper has hopes of making both the Canadian Finals and the National Breakaway Roping Finals this year.

To make that goal a reality, she plans to split her season between Canada and the U.S., aiming to maintain top positions in both associations. She knows that there are many factors including drawing well and having reliable horsepower.

“My horse, he’s kind of special to me,” she shared. “I’ve had him for a few years now, and we’ve had to work through some struggles, but just in the last six months, we’ve really come together. I feel like our timing is great, and I trust that he’s going to score, leave, and give his all every time. His stop might not be as pretty as some others out there, but he breaks the rope off fast, and I’m just so thankful to have a horse that fits me.”

For Dallyn, her plan remains the same, put in the work behind the scenes and when you get to the rodeo, to trust that it will all come together.
