Josie Conner Continues to Dominate in Arlington, Texas.

Josie Conner picked up another huge win at the Women’s Rodeo World Championship.

Josie Conner is on fire, and Arlington can’t seem to get enough of her. The No. 2 WPRA Breakaway Roper clinched a massive $60,000 win at the Women’s Rodeo World Championship inside AT&T Stadium with a lightning-fast 1.81-second run.

Earlier this year, just across the parking lot at Globe Life Field, Conner picked up another $100,000 payday at The American Rodeo. Now, she’s swept both titles in the same season.

“To finally get it done, and get it done in the same year, it’s such a blessing,” she said.

Josie and her standout horse, Dutch, made a statement all week, starting the WRWC with a 1.82-second run in Round One, dominating the Semifinals with a 2.2, and sealing the deal with her fastest run of the weekend in the finals.

“Dutch has a lot of abilities that God gave him,” she said. “Over the years, I had to develop a good swing — and a good swing leads to good delivery.”

With $56,068 in earnings already this season, Conner isn’t slowing down. She takes off for the summer run in early June, looking to make her fourth NFBR appearance and chase down a world title.
