Dakota Eldridge Dominates California Run

An impressive showing at Redding and Red Bluff landed Elridge in the top ten in the world standings.

Although the winter months were slow for Dakota Eldridge, the 11x National Finals Rodeo qualifier got right back on track with an impressive showing during the California run.

Elridge walked away victorious at both the Redding Rodeo and Red Bluff Roundup, adding a significant amount to his season earnings and catapulting him to the number nine spot in the world standings.

Eldridge accredits much of his success at the California rodeo’s to the great horse of Sterling Lambert’s he was riding named Buzz. Having reliable horsepower is half of the equation when it comes to success in rodeo and for Eldridge, it paid off.

With $40,000 already pocketed this season and a proven track record under pressure, Eldridge looks poised to make yet another trip to the NFR this December.
