The 45th Bob Feist Invitational Crowned Its Winners

The 45th Bob Feist Invitational wrapped up over the weekend paying out over $2.4 million.

It all started with the Hooey Junior BFI Roping and the champions were crowned on an average of four head. James Arviso and Landen Glenn were your winners with a time of 32.93 seconds on four. Jace Thorstenson and Denton Dunning came in second and Mason Appleton and JR Gonzalez were third. All contestants in the Hooey Junior have to be under the age of 18 as of January 1 in order to be eligible.

In the first ever BFI Legends Roping, where you had to be over 40 years old and not have gone to the National Finals Rodeo in the past five years, it was Speed Williams and Matt Sherwood that took home the win. Jeff Hilton and Zane Bruce were second and Tyler Magnus and Zane Bruce were third.

Your 2022 The Feist Champions were Jake Cooper and Billie Jack Saebens with 47.11 on six head and they took home $150,000 and a big win. James Arviso and Josh Patton had a big payday for their second place finish and Rhen Richard and Jeremy Buhler finished third. In total, fifteen teams went home with a big paycheck.
