Qynn Andersen is making a strong impression in his rookie PRCA season. The 22-year-old Australian bull rider currently holds the No. 2 position in the Resistol Rookie Bull Riding standings, No. 19 in the World, and has been consistently picking up checks at rodeos across the country.
Andersen made the move to the U.S. at 18 years old with a career in bull riding in his mind. Inspired by legends like Troy Dunn and, more recently, Ky Hamilton. Andersen bought his PRCA permit in 2023 before focusing on the PBR in 2024, where he punched a ticket to the PBR World Finals.
Now in his rookie PRCA Season, Andersen is making noise. He posted an 89.5 point ride in Del Rio, Texas, for a big pay day, then headed north to take the win at the Northernmost Xtreme Bulls event in Fairbanks, Alaska.
Andersen says consistency is his focus as the summer run kicks off. He is hitting the road alongside 2023 World Champion Ky Hamilton with one goal in mind: to qualify for his first National Finals Rodeo this December.
