Weston Patterson Climbs to No. 6 in Saddle Bronc Standings After Hot Start to 2025 Season

With over $70,000 in earnings so far, Patterson is having arguably the best season of his rodeo career.

Weston Patterson has had an outstanding start to the 2025 rodeo season and as a result, is currently sitting No. 6 in the PRCA Saddle Bronc World Standings.

This marks a significant leap from last year, when he finished 40th in the world with just over $43,600 in earnings. So far in 2025, Patterson has already surpassed that total, having earned more than $70,000.

His latest victory came at the Old Fort Days Rodeo, where he marked 88 points to claim the championship title and take home $4,507. Earlier in the season, he made a strong showing at RodeoHouston with a $21,000 payday, and picking up nearly $10,000 in winnings from San Antonio.

With the summer run just around the corner, Patterson is positioning himself for what could be the most successful season of his career, one that he hopes will culminate in a trip to the National Finals Rodeo this December.
