Wyatt Casper and Stetson Wright Split Long Round Saddle Bronc Riding in Greeley

Wyatt Casper showed up to the third performance of the Greeley Stampede and rodeo Rocky Mountain Rodeo’s Goldylocks for 86 points to tie for the lead with Stetson Wright.

Casper and Wright, two of the best saddle bronc riders in the world over the last three seasons, each earned $3,199 for their rides.

Casper knew a little bit about the horse after seeing Lefty Holman ride her at Tuscon.

“I hate to say I beat his score, but he was only 82 on him,” Casper joked.

Now that the summer run is in full swing, Casper has no intentions of slowing down.

“This time of year, it’s nice to be able to make as many rodeos as you can and we appreciate all the committees doing what they can to raise the money for us and let us work these rodeos how ever we’re able to and I’ll be excited to come back here on (June 30),” Casper said.

Wright is currently No. 2 in the PRCA Saddle Bronc Riding World Standings and Casper is No. 4.
