Timed Event Athlete of the Week: Steer Wrestler Clayton Hass Takes Home Title in Clovis

Sitting No. 15 in the World Clayton Hass secures win in Clovis with aggregate time of 23.1 seconds

Four-time National Finals Rodeo qualifier Clayton Hass secured the No. 1 spot at the Clovis Rodeo with an aggregate time of 23.1 seconds to earn the Timed Event Athlete of the Week Title.

Hass placed in all four rounds and ran away with the title as he won the Average by 7.8 seconds.

In the opening round, Hass set the tone by clocking in at an impressive 4.8 seconds, seizing the top spot and pocketing $2,481.

Maintaining his momentum into the second round, Hass delivered yet another solid run, securing second place with a time of 5.7 seconds.

A 5.9-second run in the Final Round locked Hass into the No.1 spot once again and solidified his position at the top of the Average. It was his third win of the season and second Playoff Series win.

Hass added $11,464 to his overall earnings in Clovis as he sits No. 15 in the PRCA World Standings. He last made the NFR in 2020.
