Ben Jordan/Scott Lauaki Rise to the Occasion in Rookie Roundup Finals

They were the only team to catch in the Final 4

Ben Jordan/Scott Lauaki advanced to the Shootout in fifth and the Finals in third with times of 7.0 seconds and 8.0 seconds, but when it mattered the most, the Utah pair went out and took it.

They registered the only qualified time in the Finals, but it was also the fastest run in Rookie Roundup history at 4.5 seconds.

“We knew that steer was good, he stepped a little right, I’ve been in the wall all weekend, I’m just happy Scott kept me off the wall and we made a good run out of it,” Jordan said.

“There’s always added pressure (in a Short Round),” Lauaki said. “Just had to go at ‘em at that point.”

The other three teams to make the Finals were Cash Fretwell/Cole Walker, Chase Graves/Koby Sanchez and Zane Kilgus/Levi Pettigrew.
