Will Lowe ends the Long Round in Austin tied for the lead after he went 88 points back on March 18.
Lowe ends the long round in a tie with Leighton Berry, who was also marked 88 points earlier in the rodeo.
Lowe went 88 on Beutler & Son Rodeo’s Nutrena’s Tic Tac, a horse he had matched up with before.
“I’ve had 316 before, I had her in Lawton a couple of years ago when she was a little younger and not quite as known. Same thing, lots of swoops and back and forth. I was 87 on her there so we were real good.”
Lowe’s mindset rarely changes, which is true in Austin as he heads to the Semifinals.
“Just trying to do the same thing every time. Just try your hardest and leave it all out in the arena.”
