For the second straight night in Sioux Falls, Coleman Proctor/Logan Medlin turned in a 4.6-second run. There was one big difference between the two, however, Thursday’s didn’t get them a check on Friday’s got them a round-winning $10,000 payday.
“We kind of talked about how the round my soften tonight because there was just four teams that didn’t have a time yesterday, they’d be trying to get back on one,” Proctor said. “Never dreamed a 4.6 would win the round tonight after not getting close last night, but I’ll dang sure take it.”
The pair’s aggregate time of 9.2 seconds put them second in the two-head Average, which does not get paid out, but is used to determined who moves on.
The Top 8 teams from the first two rounds advanced to Saturday’s Semifinals and they will then be narrowed to a Four-Man Shootout with the winner taking home $25,000.
