The No. 1 rookie header and No. 1 rookie heeler teamed up this weekend in Fort Worth and left No. 1 at the Resistol Rookie Roundup presented by The Cowboy Channel.
Cole Thomas and Kaden Prolifi were 5 seconds flat to take second in the Long Round before returning with a 4.9 to win the Short Round. With a 4.2 in the Eight-Man Round, They were one of two pairs with three qualified times for the rodeo.
“We knew all we had to do was go catch, all we had to do was make a good practice run,” Prolifi said after the Short Round. “So that’s what we did.”
