The San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo wrapped up its first bracket on Saturday afternoon and roughstock riders Cole Reiner, Logan Hay and Sage Kimzey were among the stars.


Kaleb Driggers/Junior Nogueira stopped the clock at 4.2 seconds to win the team roping at the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo. With the win, both of the reigning World Champions moved to No. 1 in the PRCA World Standings.

Bryson Sechrist was the second tie-down roper out in the Finals and knew he had to go fast to set a time to beat. He says he let it all hang out, and it paid off with a time of 7.2 seconds, a new arena record.

After an extended layoff because of the birth of his son, Sage Kimzey won all four Go-Rounds he competed in at the FWSSR and jumped to No. 4 in the PRCA World Standings.
On Saturday night, Wenda Johnson stopped the clock at 16.08 seconds to break her own arena record and win the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo.

Kaycee Feild set a new arena record on Saturday night with 93 points on Ols Tubs Stevie Nicks to win the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo.

Fans probably did not expect to see reigning PRCA Saddle Bronc Riding World Champion Stetson Wright have to go through the Wild Card in Fort Worth, but he advanced to the Semifinals in style on Wednesday night.

The first bracket of seven is complete at the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo. First and second in each bracket will move straight to the Semifinals while third will have to work their way through the Wild Card.

All seven brackets are now complete at the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo, Thursday and Friday’s Semifinals are set along with Wednesday’s Wild Card.

The top performers in Bracket 6 in Fort Worth included plenty of athletes with NFR success on their resumes.
