Hunter Herrin Wins Rodeo Austin with a Swift 7.1-Second Run

The pressure was on in the tie-down roping for the Final Round of Rodeo Austin and Hunter Herrin came out on top after stopping the clock in a swift 7.1 seconds to take the Championship Title.

“You just want to come out and make the best run you can, my horse was a little rowdy in the box but I was able to get a great start and the calf was really good and I was fortunate not to beat myself,” Herrin said.

The 12-time National Finals Rodeo Qualifier is now sitting No. 2 in the PRCA World Standings with over $56,000 in earnings and shows no signs of slowing down for the 2023 season.
