World Champion Bull Rider, Ted Nuce stopped by the NFR Tailgate Party

Pam Minick spoke with legendary cowboy and the 1985 World Champion Bull Rider, Ted Nuce, about the Wrangler NFR, it being in Texas this year, and what inspired him to be a bull rider.

They also discuss competing on the word stage, his peers, his most memorable ride, and raising a family.

Nuce turned pro back in 1982 and won the PRCA World Championship in 1985. He is a California native and was champion in the California circuit in 1982, 1983, 1985, 1989, 1990, 1992, and 1994. Also, he won PBR’s inaugural World Finals in 1994.

He was inducted into the ProRodeo Hall of Fame in 2009 and the PBR’s Heroes and Legends Celebration Ring of Honor in 1996.
