The American Rodeo Championship Weekend Gets Set for a Star-Studded 2026 Memorial Day Weekend

The American Rodeo, powered by Teton Ridge, will take over Globe Life Field for Championship weekend.

The American Rodeo is set to return to Arlington, Texas, over Memorial Day Weekend in 2026, marking its 13th annual appearance. Following a record-setting year in 2025 with over $5 million in payouts, the event is gearing up for another thrilling season of rodeo action.

Before Championship Weekend, competitors will battle it out in three regional qualifiers held throughout April. The top five athletes from each region will earn a coveted spot to compete against the top five PRCA and WPRA athletes during Championship Weekend.

2026 American Rodeo Regional Qualifier Schedule:

  • East Region – Lexington, KY
    April 9–11 | Alltech Arena, Kentucky Horse Park
  • Central Region – Oklahoma City, OK
    April 16–18 | OG&E Coliseum, OKC Fairgrounds
  • West Region – Las Vegas, NV
    April 30–May 2 | South Point Arena & Equestrian Center

Building on the excitement of 2025’s unforgettable Championship Weekend, the 2026 edition will once again take place at Globe Life Field. There, rodeo athletes from across the nation and all walks of life will compete to make history and claim their share of one of the sport’s most prestigious titles.
