12x National Finals Bull Fighter and 2024 Bull Fighter of the Year Cody Webster, will be out for the remainder of the 2025 regular rodeo season as he undergoes reconstructive shoulder surgery on August 6, 2025.
The surgery is a result of an injury sustained during the Music City Rodeo in Nashville this past May. Since then, Webster’s shoulder has dislocated seven times. Despite the setback, he was determined to push through the July run and finish his season at the Daddy of ‘em All, Cheyenne Frontier Days, which he successfully completed this past weekend. The procedure typically requires a 4-6 month recovery, but Webster has his sights set on returning to the dirt by December.
