Ryder Wright’s 90 Point Ride Wins Round Two in Saddle Bronc Riding

Saddle Bronc Round 2

Ryder Wright improved on his third-place finish in Round 1 by winning Round 2 thanks to a 90-point ride on Championship Pro Rodeo’s Feather Fluffer.

Wright was excited to dray Feather Fluffer, “That was an awesome horse,” he said. “I’ve seen that horse for the past few years now. I’ve wanted to get on him for so long and was super happy he was here. I was pumped (to draw him). I was super excited. I knew if I did my part, it could be 90.”

After a difficult 2019 NFR, Wright credits his third-place finish in Round 1 for jumpstarting his 2020 NFR.

“I don’t know if people realize how much momentum means here at the Finals,” Wright said. “To be able to draw two good horses in the first two rounds … hopefully, it’ll keep the ball rolling.”

Ryder is inching closer to the number 1 spot in the World Standings, currently held by Wyatt Casper. Wright now sits $23,000 behind Casper, who finished in second place with an 89 point ride in Round 2.
