Sage Newman added his ninth rodeo win of the 2022 season by tying the arena record at the St. Paul Rodeo with 89 points aboard Pendleton Roundup’s Marquee on Monday.
The Montana native was 88.5 on Marquee in Fort Worth earlier in the year.
“That feels pretty good to be up there with some of the greats, that was a great horse of Sankey’s,” Newman said.
Newman also won RodeoHouston and the Reno Rodeo. He leads the PRCA World Standings by more than $40,000.
