Caldwell Night Rodeo: Thursday Night Daysheet, Performance 3

Caldwell Night Rodeo is proving to be action packed and we head into Performance 3 with big ticket names on the daysheet.

BAREBACK RIDING

Cole Reiner is coming off an arena record setting ride in Gooding and he will nod his head on King Rodeo’s Paddington. This horse has four outs this season including an 82.5-point ride by Ben Kramer.

STEER WRESTLING

Ty Allred found himself in the No. 4 spot in Round 1 with a 4.6-second run and that is already too slow to be in the Round 2 money. He needs to be 4.5 or faster to get into Round 2’s payout but a 5.1 will get him into the Top 6 in the Average.

TEAM ROPING

Jr Dees and JC Flake tied for a sixth-place finish in Round 1 with Nelson Wyatt and Jonathan Torres after both teams were 5.7 seconds. A 4.1 is leading Round 1 and an 11.8 leads the Average.

SADDLE BRONC RIDING

Kade Bruno will nod on Burch Rodeo’s Lyin Lunatic. The horse is the same one that No. 2 saddle bronc rider Damian Brennan covered in Caldwell in 2023 for 81.5 points.

TIE-DOWN ROPING

Riley Webb is going for the Go-Round in Caldwell but it is still an Average game. The World Champion has the horsepower to get to the top of the leaderboard.

BREAKAWAY ROPING

Taylor Hanchey tied for the win in Round 1 with a 2.2 and she comes into Round 2 with a time of 2.3 to beat to take over the lead and the Average.

BARREL RACING

Ashley Castleberry is a cowgirl that sits just outside the Top 5 in the World and a 16.95 leads Round 2 with a 17.11 in second. If she can squeeze into the gap between one and two, a go-round check might get her into the Top 5.

BULL RIDING

Jace Trosclair took an early lead with an 87 on Alakazoo and he now sits No. 3 in Caldwell. Tonight, Jake Lockwood will nod his head on that same bull.
