National High School Rodeo Association is in full swing and with that comes some particularly impressive equine and student athletes.
March’s Equine Athletes of the Month include Mason Hunter’s Punky, who has been in their family for six years now and continues to get the job done, as well as Samantha Mai’s, Nic, who may have had an unsteady start, however, together the duo has continued to make a name. National High School Finals Reserve Pole Bending Champions, Megan Larson and her horse Izzy, stay on top of their game in 2022, along with Reggie, the 2018 AQHA High Point Tie-Down roping horse and his rider Caden Talip.
The Student Athletes of the Month are highlighted through NHSRA as we get to know these students and what they are accomplishing at all ages. Included are Junior High School ranked Brooks Kee, 6th grade, and Augusta Warrant, 8th grade, as well as 12th graders Cash Fuesz and Laci Fuhlage.
