Zach Top performs National Anthem on Opening Night of 65th Wrangler NFR

Friday, December 8th the 65th Wrangler National Finals Rodeo kicked off in Las Vegas.

As always in the rodeo world, the first round opened up with country artist Zach Top performing the National Anthem. Top is a Washington ranch kid who is revitalizing 90s country music.

The Reno Rodeo Xtreme Bulls paid out $60,000 total and four cowboys kicked off their summer run with a payday of $9,000 or more on Thursday night.


Jordan Spears, a four-time NFR qualifier in the bull riding who has also been team roping this year, will miss the beginning of the summer run due to a lacerated liver.
