Friday, December 8th the 65th Wrangler National Finals Rodeo kicked off in Las Vegas.
As always in the rodeo world, the first round opened up with country artist Zach Top performing the National Anthem. Top is a Washington ranch kid who is revitalizing 90s country music.

RodeoHouston paid out almost $2 million. Most of the first-place finishers took home upwards of $60,000 while those just cracking the Top 10 made closer to $6,000.
The first ever NFR Playoff will have a total payout of $1 million and be held at the Puyallup Rodeo from Sept. 8-11.
