Weston Timberman has carried his winning momentum from the Pendleton Round-Up to the North Dakota Roughrider Cup. A match-up with Macza Pro Rodeo’s standout mare, OLS Tubs Stevie Knicks, ended with Timberman in the Winner’s Circle yet again.
“Yeah, I couldn’t ask for anything better. A couple weeks before this we were fighting to stay in the Top 15 and once I saw that I knew I’d be able to jump up and start chasing for that World Title so it’s pretty cool,” Timberman said.
The Montana bareback rider’s 91-point ride was the top score by four and a half points and he is the No. 6 ranked bareback rider in the World. He is unofficially heading to the Thomas and Mack come December with a Resistol Rookie of the Year title in tow.
Leighton Berry and Bradlee Miller’s pair of 86.5’s tied for second and third in North Dakota with Mason Clements and Cole Franks splitting fourth.
