Whistle Stop Cafe cleaned house at the American Quarter Horse Association Race Awards.
Whistle Stop Cafe won the World Title, the Champion 2-year-old Title and the 2-year-old Filly Title.
Whistle Stop Cafe was purchased by the Whitmire family for $42,000 and now the mare is worth more than $1 million.
“We couldn’t have done it without this entire group, everybody behind the scenes who made this possible,” Lainie Whitmire said. “It takes an amazing crew to get a horse to this point.”
Other winners included Apolitical Gold taking the 2-year-old Gelding Championship and Dule Sin Tacha taking the 2-year-old Colt Title.
