For the 2019 NFR, the business savvy and stylish women behind Western Runway magazine — Ashley Alderson, Jessie Jarvis, and Tiffany Cooper — are joining The Cowboy Channel team to cover this year’s fashion at the NFR in special segments on Western Sports Round-Up and Rodeo Las Vegas.

“We are really looking forward to partnering with The Cowboy Channel during this year’s NFR,” says Tiffany Cooper (wife of world champion tie-down roper Tuf Cooper). “For women, western fashion is always of interest, and it’s never been covered in such a way, or at such a large scale. We can’t think of a better opportunity to bring this kind of unique coverage to people than during the best 10 days of rodeo.”

All three veterans of the event, the trio knows just how to prep for the Super Bowl of rodeo and its correlating festivities, as well as the best spots to find everything from practical gifts to custom indulgences. Jessie says, “In addition to the rodeo, shopping is what brings a lot of people to Las Vegas for NFR. As veteran NFR-goers and shoppers, even we know it can be overwhelming, so we want to help take the guesswork out of what to wear and where to shop. We also know that there are just as many people who are interested in shopping but can’t make it to Vegas. For that group of people, we want to bring the excitement of shopping to them, so that they don’t feel like they’re missing out at home.”

But their Western Runway segments will cover more than just current trends and designer destinations. As advocates of self-love, they want to help other women find their inner fashionistas and dress with confidence. “These Western Runway segments are going to bring a new element to Western Sports Round-Up, highlighting the ‘frequently asked questions’ of fashion,” Ashley says, “while also connecting viewers with some of the boutiques and brands they can shop, whether they’re in Las Vegas, or at home!”

SUITING UP FOR NFR

Here are their top picks and packing advice for the National Finals.

“My tip is to buy a package of sticky bubble wrap and use that to roll all of your jewelry when you’re packing. Not only does the bubble wrap protect pieces from getting broken, but it keeps things from tangling together. The sticky wrap works the best because it adheres to itself, so you don’t need tape, and you can reuse it again on the trip home!” — Jessie, @mrsjjarv

“I’m going to be packing quite a few blazers for NFR. A good blazer can fit any kind of outfit vibe, and they can so effortlessly “up” any kind of outfit!” — Ashley, @ajalderson

“Tuf and I stay for about 18 days, so we have to pack a lot! We pack everything in the big Rubbermaid totes with wheels, and that makes it so much easier. I’ll definitely have at least 10 pairs of Rock and Roll Cowgirl high-rise trousers in there. They’re so comfortable, and they’re perfect for wearing during the day or to the rodeo.” — Tiffany, @fashion_posse
