Wenda Johnson Has Always Wanted to go Fast

Wenda Johnson grew up on the back of a horse running wild and now, she is a three-time National Finals Rodeo qualifier.

“The stuff we did when we were little kids was crazy. In fact, I don’t know how we survived and didn’t break our necks,” she said.

It was a wild and free childhood with ponies that did it all but fast was never fast enough for Johnson on ponies or in life. She is a mother, a wife, a barrel racer, a doctor, a pianist and more. The Oklahoma cowgirl can do it all.

Johnson grew up with the best of both worlds in Arizona where horses were a consistent part of her life from the get go. Now, Flash and Mac are helping Johnson live a dream.

“Wenda has always had this drive to do and be something and she’s never deviated from that and that is something that is very admirable about her,” said Johnson’s sister, Wylene.
