Curtis Cassidy added another first to his long career, this time it came in Redding as Cassidy won the rodeo for the first time and is your Timed Event Athlete of the Week.
Cassidy opened the rodeo with a 4.7-second run to place third in Round 1. He followed that up with a 5.0-second run in Round 2, and while that was only good for sixth, it was good enough to put him No. 1 in the average at 9.7 on two.
The win earned Cassidy over $4,300 and jumped him inside the top 30 in the World, now sitting at No. 29.
