Tie-down roper Marty Yates was first out and turned in a run of 7.4 seconds for Night Four to earn his first round win this year.
Yates has ridden his trusty horse Buster for the majority of his appearances in the Thomas & Mack and brought in different equine partners for 2022 including Jag.
“I know every move Jag’s going to make so I think all those other runs are going to make up for not doing so good,” Yates said.
