The Horses of All Ages Sale is Underway in Kentucky

After a slight weather delay, the January Horses of All Ages sale is underway in Lexington, Kentucky.

The momentum from the sales in September and November is showing at the sale now. The average is up at least 23% from a year ago.

Hip 276 was a filly that went for $750,000 to be the high sale of the day bought by Three Chimneys Farm. Three Chimneys also bought another filly that is a daughter of Justify for $410,000 and the sale is not finished yet.

They topped off the day with an amazing act of kindness from the thoroughbred racing community. A breeding to Gun Runner brought $130,000 that will go to benefit those effected by the tornadoes that ripped through Kentucky in December.

The Horses of All Ages Sale will continue through January 14.
