JR Stratford Conquers Beutler and Son’s Dale Yeah at the Greeley Stampede

JR Stratford drew Beutler and Son Rodeo’s bull Dale Yeah for Wednesday night’s Greeley Stampede performance and the young, Kansas cowboy conquered the previously unridden bull to go to the top of the leader board with 88.5 points and cinch his spot in the Short Go.

“I was needing to get one rode and it broke the ice for me and I’m ready to hit the summer run,” Stratford said.

Stratford said he has been in a little bit of a dry spell and a ride like that brings his confidence back up and he couldn’t have made this ride at a better time.

He sits No. 16 in the PRCA World Standings going into the Cowboy Christmas run and he sits No. 1 going into the Greeley Stampede Short Go. Stratford will be going up against cowboys like Stetson Wright, Maverick Potter and Trey Benton for the Greeley Stampede title.
