The Resistol Reno Open has wrapped up and Andrew Ward and Buddy Hawkins took the title with a total time of 40.66 seconds on six head.

The two split $100,000 in the final year that the Open takes place at the arena.

After the win, Ward spoke about how difficult the day is, "We come out here knowing it will be a long day. Neither one of us sleep real good before the event, because it is a big deal to us. It is 50,000 to win and you have to be real sharp on the day and catch six cows."

Cody Snow and Wesley Thorp placed second, just .05 seconds behind Ward and Hawkins.
