Jackie Crawford is an icon in the breakaway world. The 19-time World Champion is still learning to balance family and rodeo with the way breakaway roping has grown the past three years.
Crawford has roped at every big rodeo that added breakaway to the roster over the past two years including Reno, Cheyenne, Salinas and more. She is also the 2020 World Champion.
“That was something that I will never forget. You know that whole thing just seemed like this big, whole dream,” Crawford said on winning the World Championship in 2020.
Winning that title made Crawford feel like a little girl that just loved to rope again. It makes the long days, day in and day out work, worth it.
Crawford is a competitor that we will see more of as the regular season gets going. Crawford finished second at the 2020 FWSSR, she makes her return to Dickies Arena soon and you can bet she’s going for the win.
