Montana Silversmith celebrated their 50th anniversary by going down in history. In partnership with Priefert, they created the world’s largest belt buckle and will be a part of the Guiness Book of World Records.
A multitude of ideas came together from the Montana Silversmith team and they have worked for nearly 18 months to accomplish the world’s largest belt buckle.
“For us, it is so iconic, the buckle for the western lifestyle. You know, sometimes we say it is a cowboy business card and it truly is,” said Judy Wagner, Chief Marketing Officer of Montana Silversmiths.
Wagner did not pass up the opportunity to also thank every retailer that helped get Montana Silversmiths to where they are and their 50th anniversary.
Eddie Priefert, President of Priefert Manufacturing, compared the size of the world’s largest belt buckle to a Priefert bucking chute and the buckle is 25-30% larger than the chute.
Montana Silversmiths is a staple company in the rodeo and western industries and they celebrated their 50th anniversary in the best way.
