Kassie Mowry wins $100,000 at BFA World Championship Finals

Barrel racer Kassie Mowry has won another slot race, this time riding Sand in My Socks at the Barrel Futurities of America World Championship Finals.

Mowry, who has been to the NFR twice, turned in a time of 15.521 and was paid out $100,000 for her win. This is the first time Kassie has teamed up with a BHR Frenchie Socks colt.

“I know the BHRs are really well known, she’s the first one I’ve ever trained, she’s just been easy,” Mowry said. “She makes a trainer feel good about her training.
