Spencer Wright and Chase Brooks make a pair of 84-point rides to split the last go-round win of Bracket 5 in San Antonio.
Wright needed this win in order to move on to the Semifinals and he did just what he needed to do.
“I was really happy, you know. I’ve been waiting all week, a long time to get on a horse like that and when it works out it makes a guy happy,” Wright said about his matchup with Macza Pro Rodeo’s I’m A Winner.
For Brooks, this is his second go-round win in San Antonio this week and it came on Championship Rodeo’s Ruben.
“I knew when I saw him on the list I had a good shot. Had to do my job and he was going to be big and fun and look pretty out there so I had to do what I could and make him flashy,” Brooks said.
Moving on to the Semifinals along with Brooks and Wright is Sterling Crawley and Wyatt Casper.
