Shelby Boisjoli was 2.2 seconds in the Short Round to win the Reno Rodeo in convincing fashion.
Boisjoli, who also won Round 1, was 7.5 seconds on three. The next closest breakaway roper was Round 2 winner Sarah Angelone.
“It takes a lot (to win at this level),” she said. “It takes an army and I have to thank everyone who has helped me out the past week, we’ve been going back and forth to Canada.”
The win paid Boisjoli a little more than $12,000.
