Bubba Greig got off to a scorching start to his 2022 season, but injuries required that he take time off right as the summer run got underway. He has since returned and done so in a big way. The Iowa cowboy took home the Pendleton Round-Up Championship and is your Roughstock Athlete of the Week.

He had the highest marked ride that got him the win in the Long Round with an 88.5-point ride on Four Star Rodeo’s Hell Hound that brought in $5,722.

When Short Round Saturday came around, it was a tough night of bull riding where the bulls came out undefeated. That meant that Greig’s 88.5 from the Long Round earned him the buckle and another $5,722.

Greig took home the Pendleton Round-Up title his rookie year and is looking forward to finishing the 2022 season strong before he starts the 2023 season off with a bang.
