Lefty Holman and Cole Elshere were both 85 points to split the second Semifinal in the saddle bronc riding at the Daddy of ‘em All.
Elshere got it done on Summit’s Big John while Holman had Awesome Sauce of United Pro Rodeo.
“That horse is real strong, I was just real happy to be in the middle when he started going straight,” Elshere said.
“That horse is stronger at eight seconds than the first jump,” Holman said, expressing a similar sentiment toward his dance partner Saturday.
Joining them in Sunday’s Finals are Cameron Messier, Stu Wright, Dylan Hancock and Tegan Smith. All six cowboys advancing were within 1.5 points of each other.
The Finals begin with the pre-show at 2 PM ET on The Cowboy Channel and Cowboy Channel+.
