Clayton Biglow had a favorable matchup with Great Nation of Sankey Pro Rodeo and took advantage with an 85.5-point ride to win the first bareback riding Semifinal in Cheyenne.
“That’s a great horse, she really lets you show off and have some fun,” Biglow said. “She’s a lot different from the rest of them that were out today. I kind of outdrew everyone, but knew I had to do my job.”
A group of five bareback riders under 25 advanced alongside Biglow from the first Semifinal. Donny Proffitt was 84.5, Ben Kramer went 84 and Jacek Frost was 83. Rounding things out were World No. 2 Leighton Berry and No. 4 Cole Reiner.
The second Semifinal from Cheyenne is Saturday at 2 PM ET and the winner-take-all Finals are Sunday. You can watch it all on The Cowboy Channel and Cowboy Channel+.
