Halyn Lide has posted the fastest time of the Reno Rodeo in Barrel Racing, but it came at a cost. Lide took a nasty spill after crossing the finish line and was visibly shaken up.
Dr. Travis Keickbush of Justin Sports Medicine says Lide suffered a laceration on the back of her head and a minor shoulder injury, but she is doing well.
Dr. Keickbush also said a concussion is always a possibility, but it appears the Lide avoided having one.
