The PRCA World Champions have been in Las Vegas this week doing promotional shoots and spreading the word for the 2023 NFR.
Joining us on WSR on Wednesday night talk about their experience was saddle bronc rider Zeke Thurston and bareback rider Jess Pope.
On Wednesday, the pair spent the day meeting with Las Vegas performers, politicians and other athletes, including some cross promotion for the Super Bowl, which is coming to Las Vegas in February of 2024.
“They’re here with opening arms, welcoming all of us,” Pope said. “It’s pretty dang cool to think that we get associated with NFL players as well as the rodeo cowboys.”
“They like cowboys (in Las Vegas), everyone knows that the rodeo comes in December and look forward to it,” Thurston added. “They treat you good.”
