This year, in the Team Roping, Rylie Smith and her partner Hope Thompson switched roles. Typically, Thompson heels and Smith heads, but it was reversed at the World Championship.
It was a year of records for Chad Berger Bucking Bulls. Berger was named PBR Stock Contractor of the Year for the 10th time and his bull Smooth Operator became the oldest bull to win a World Championship two years in a row.
Barrel racer Kassie Mowry has won another slot race, this time riding Sand in My Socks at the Barrel Futurities of America World Championship Finals.
The PBR is taking its next team event to sea.
Boudreaux Campbell went 4-for-5 in AT&T Stadium over the weekend to win the PBR World Finals event title.
Brazilian cowboy Jose Vitor Leme won the 2020 PBR World Championship, clinching the title with an astounding 95.75-point ride on Saturday night.
