Boudreaux Campbell Wins PBR World Finals Event, Rookie of the Year

Boudreaux Campbell went 4-for-5 in AT&T Stadium over the weekend to win the PBR World Finals event title. Two of his rides were marked 90 points or higher.

Winning the event won Campbell $300,000 and launched him 30 spots in the PBR world standings. He finished the season No. 3.

“I’m lost for words,” he told PBR.com. “I’ve been working at this all year long, especially with the year we had. It was crazy. We had to go through a lot of obstacles. PBR went through a ton of stress to get us to where we are. And heck, my emotions right now are so happy.”

Campbell spent a majority of this season riding a PRCA schedule and finished third in the world standings. He will compete at the Wrangler NFR in December and is the only bull rider in 2020 to qualify for both the NFR and the PBR World Finals.
