Team Ropers Tyler Wade and Trey Yates Get Faster at Greeley Stampede

Tyler Wade and Trey Yates stopped the clock in 5.6 seconds during the Monday night performance of the Greeley Stampede. They were a 6.0 in Round 1 and both knew they had to be quick in Round 2.

“We kind of thought we could be a little quicker honestly, he ran the first time, we expected him to run and he came out there like he was a little bit lost and so we kind of had to capitalize on catching him,” Wade said about the steer they drew.

Greeley Stampede is a tour rodeo and Wade and Yates know that at the end of the year, points matter. Yates said that they caught two steers, did their job and the rest is out their control. It is now a waiting game with two performances left in Greeley.
