Tie-down roper Hunter Herrin is now sitting No. 12 in the PRCA World Standings after cashing in at multiple rodeos and he is the Timed Event Athlete of the Week.

It all started at the Snake River Stampede in Nampa, Idaho where a 7.4 second run brought in over $4,000 before an 8.6 in the Final Round added to that. He was only getting started, though. He also won Spanish Fork and California Rodeo Salinas. In Spanish Fork, he was second in both rounds to win the Average and bring in more than $10,000. In Salinas, he exceeded $11,000 for winning the rodeo.

In total, Herrin tacked on around $25,000 to his season earnings and he continues to climb the World Standings. The 11-time National Finals Rodeo qualifier is looking to make it 12 with just over two months left in the regular season.
