Lucas Mooningham covered both of his bulls at California Rodeo Salinas to come out on top with an aggregate score of 170.5.
Mooningham placed first in Round 1 with an 87.5 on Rosser Rodeo’s Logun’s Legacy and finished out with an 83-point ride in the Finals.
“I love this rodeo, this is the biggest win I’ve ever had, and I look forward to many more,” Mooningham said.
With 2022 shaping up to be Mooninham’s biggest year of his career, the momentum from a win as big as California Rodeo Salinas can do big things for a young bull rider.
