Bareback Rider Rocker Steiner Splits Three Way Win in Weatherford

From setting a world record one weekend to splitting the hometown rodeo win the next weekend. Rocker Steiner made an 85-point ride on Pete Carr Pro Rodeo’s Redzilla to be one of three cowboys that take home the win.

Redzilla is a National Finals Rodeo caliber bronc and when asked how he can ride horses like that so fearlessly, Steiner said it comes naturally from his competitiveness and his want to win.

He is sitting No. 1 in the Resistol Rookie of the Year standings heading into the summer run.

“[I have] a bunch of confidence just because I know that I can compete with the best guys in the world and heck, I can do it pretty good too,” Steiner said about his experience after having success on rank horses.

Steiner tied for the win along with fellow rookie Waylon Bourgeois and NFR qualifier Leighton Berry.
