Isaac Diaz made an 85 point-ride on Pete Carr’s Border Town at the Parker County Sheriff’s Posse Frontier Days.
“God knows exactly what I need this time of year and that’s confidence and that’s a confident horse. I was glad to have time,” Diaz said.
The ride was good enough to put him in second place behind Chase Brooks, who was 88 points in the first performance on Thursday.
Diaz is currently on the road with his family while traveling just before kicking off the summer run.
